How to Use Snapchat on Your Android Phone

Snapchat has popped up on nearly everyone’s phone these days. It’s a photo and video messaging application that allows you to send snaps (also called photos or videos) to your friends or the world. Snapchat works just like it sounds: You send a snap, which is a photo or video, and the people who receive it on Snapchat choose to view it or not. It’s like a short, video version of the ‘tweet’ or ‘like’ social media posts you see everywhere else. These snaps usually only last for a set period of time, usually 24 hours. After that, they’re gone. So what if you can’t stand seeing photos of your significant other or your kids on Snapchat? If you are an Android user, you can use Snapchat on your phone without even thinking about it. Here’s how to use Snapchat on your Android phone. Read on to find out more.

To add a shortcut, tap the ‘+’ button at the bottom-left corner of the screen, and then select the ‘shortcut’ option. You can then select the type of shortcut you want (photo, GIF, sound, etc.) and then choose the ‘shorthand’ option (if you want to send the image or video as a single image or video.)
